AnimaNation
AnimaNation is a cross cultural, current affairs travel show that journeys from one nation to another, following the often dangerous and hidden trade in such animal rights abuses as Rhino horn poaching in Africa and Vietnam, to the dog and cat fur trade in China to our Aussie icon being slaughtered for export to Russia.
A story of global proportions, spread across centuries, continents, cultures and religions, steeped in myth, fear, hope, wizardry, witchcraft, tradition, politics and false economies about the very things that (sustain) make our earth survive and evolve-the animal kingdom.
AnimaNation delves deep into and focuses on the animal rights and welfare issues of every nation, including Australia, through amyriad of perspectives, from cultural, religious, economic and legal systems and traditional beliefs.
Over every continent, through every country, in every nation, every time our hearts beat, a million innocent hearts stop, after enduring a series of sickeningly torturous, agonising, callous, brutal and needless abuses all in the name of money, medicine, meat, research, rewards, food, fashion, fur, festivals, fun, clothing, control, amusement, awards, anger, arrogance, ignorance, entertainment and ego- and why?
Simply because we can.
